About Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is an island country located in south Asia. The main languages spoken in Sri Lanka are Tamil and Sinhala. The current population (as of 2018) is 21,670,000. Sri Lanka has a human development index (HDI) of 0.770 and therefore can be considered as country with high human development (according to UNDP – United Nations Development Programme).
